  • Citroen C1 changes face

    Citroen is refreshing its C1 city car with a facelift, an engine upgrade and a posher interior for 2009.
    A cleaner, more efficient version of the 68bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine will be on offer which, Citroen claims, returns 62.8mpg (compared with 61mpg before) and emits 106g/km CO2 (previously 108g/km).

    Why did they do that? Makes the Peugeot look pretty.

     Ha ha ha ha ha! You could go into a Citroen dealership, sneeze on the salesman's suit, wipe your nose on his tie, show him a picture of yourself and his wife in bed together, tell him that you're the bloke who ran over his dog and then suggest his football team is sh*te and he'd still knock two grand off the price. Why does Citroen even bother publishing these bullsh*t official prices? Just but 'negotiable, but cheap' at the bottom of every advert...

    Because there will always be some sucker who will go in an pay full price.  They're out there and I've seen them do it.
