    What is it?


    An eco-fied version of the distinctly vintage Seat Alhambra, a car that was introduced as long ago as 1996.


    The Ecomotive gets the usual CO2-trimming revisions, including low rolling resistance tyres, taller gearbox ratios, revised engine management and 100kg of weight saving.

    Why would you buy this car? A Ford Galaxt TDCI 2.0 can be bought for nearly the same price, is nearly as economical and only emits slighty more CO2 and doesn't have any of the compromises of the Seat. Nice try but time to put this model to bed and replace it as Frod did 2 years ago.

    100kg weight saving. Hmmm... how did they manage that so easily?

    Maybe they have weighed it with all the passenger seats removed.
