Rolls-Royce has defied the slowing economy to report increased sales figures, proving that the very top end of the car market is remaining buoyant.
The company says worldwide sales rose by more than seven per cent last month. In contrast, parent company BMW saw global sales slide by 15 per cent during the same period.
September results take Rolls-Royce’s overall figures for the year so far to 827 units – an increase of more than 40 per cent on the same period in 2007.
