Jaguar have a very difficult situation to overcome and if they are able to do it, it will be a miracle !

Whereas BMW, Audi and Mercedes all have lower priced lower powered and far more eco friendly products, Jaguar has next to nothing in its product range to appeal to the younger driver.

Lexus is of course Toyota under another name and so the stepping stones are in place and the same can be said about all Jaguars other competitors, but for them, you can’t reasonably expect someone to go from a TATA to an XF.

Jaguar, if they are able to, should look back at their roots and the days of the SS etc., but I feel it is far too late to design and develop an entry level BMW ‘1’ series etc. matching vehicle.

My life is now all about driving very slowly along the deserted tracks surrounding my farm here in France in my 300TDi Defender, but having said that I can always recall my fast sideways days of times gone by.
