    Caterham owners have named the A57 between Sheffield and Glossop as Britain’s best driving road in a survey.
    Known as ‘The Snake Pass’, the road crosses the Pennines, rising to over 500 metres above sea level and taking in the National Trust’s High Peak Estate. It is also one of the most dangerous sections of road in the region, with a high accident rate and occasional landslides.     Unfortunately the Snake Pass is currently closed for resurfacing - see
