Toyota has revealed the face and cabin of its new Avensis, due to make its public debut at the Paris motor show next month.

As for the interior : "Toyota don't do car interiors".

Come on guys, Toyota doesn't make the Avensis for enthusiasts like us!  It will have the typical Toyota values of understatement, reliability and intuitiveness and it will sell, deservedly, by the bucket-load to the Toyota faithful.

Meanwhile, we can go out and buy our AMG (or whatever) and every time we start it up grin that we have the choice to drive whatever we want...

Yeah, yeah, I have read all the grumps who think it is a dog. BUT..hey.. let's face it, it's a huge, and I mean HUGE,  improvement on the current Avensis.

I agree. Avensis appears to get less adventurous by each generation.

The rear looks uncannily like the Kia Magentis'. Is this the start of a new trend? This is not the first time it has copied a Kia (which looks somewhat similar to the orignal Volvo S40). The Hilux-based Fortuner SUV looks like a Sorento clone (not a bad thing) but this is probably the most unmemorable D-segment Toyota I've seen.
