Vauxhall has released teaser images of its new Astra family hatch.

The next-generation Vauxhall Astra will get a new range of engines that will focus on offering more low-end torque and improved fuel consumption, and it will take much of the advanced technology from the new Insignia.

Very nice so far. Lets hope they keep than roofline! Although i suspect this is the 3dr model...

Are Vauxhall joking? Teaser shots of the new Astra are less interesting than teaser shots of Gordon Browns washing line. Who gives a flying f*** what the new Astra looks like? I bet it's just like the current one but slightly bigger, slightly heavier, slightly less dull to drive, slightly more economical, and slightly less ugly. Big deal.....
