Our spy photographers have captured the best pictures yet of Rolls-Royce’s fourth model, known by its internal code of ‘RR4’, testing without most of the cladding that’s disguised prototypes until now.

The shape of the baby Rolls’ body sides are clearly visible for the first time, along with the big Phantom-style door handles on the rear-hinged ‘suicide’ doors. At the rear the RR4’s vast bootlid is obvious along with the stepped rear wings.

Anyone else thinking 'fat Rover 75'?

Well they always said the 75 rode better than the a Roller.

Could this be why the MG7 isnt coming to the UK?  The chinese have sold the rights to Rolls......

A rival to the S-Class and BMW's own 7-Series, on which it's based. But for £170k. Hmmmm...... Even the RR4's potentially most deadly rival, the Bentley Flying Spur, is 'only £133k'.

I'm sure the interior materials and exclusivity (compared to an S-Class) are the reasons for the mammoth price. Either way, i doubt the car will be better overall than the Merc.
