  • Jaguar plans diesel XK

    Jaguar engineers are currently hard at work on a diesel-powered XK.
    Despite saying at launch that the coupe and cabriolet would only have petrol power, senior engineering sources have revealed that the economic situation has forced a rethink. So has the success of the BMW 635d.

    Great News 'bout time too - I have a deisel XJ and it's great - I also have an Merc SL500 which has been the most unreliable heap of rubbish I have ever owned - hence the Jag...

    I want to change to an XK but have been waiting for a deisel.

    Can't understand why they haven't done it ages ago. Also, why havent they installed the V8 diesel that the Range Rover gets into the XJ and XK ? Bizarre.
