    The wraps have just come off the IFR Aspid, a new two-seat sports car that’s been designed and engineered in the UK and costs an ambitious-sounding £75,000.
    Manufacturer IFR Automotive reckons the supercharged Aspid will hit 62mph in 2.8sec and 100mph in 5.9sec, Bugatti Veyron levels of performance. The Aspid weighs just 700kg, but build quality appears to be a cut above the traditional low-volume British sports cars.

    Grown up Caterham by the looks of things.  Wonder if the driving experience is as good though?

    Is it just me, or are we all becoming a little cynical about these sort of projects?

     

    It's all about the twisties....
