  • Citroen C4 gets a facelift

    Citroen has given its C4 hatchback and coupe a mid-life facelift.
    The headline news is under the bonnet, where a new 118bhp, 1.6-litre VTi engine will replace the 1.6i 16v engine, and a 148bhp, turbocharged, 1.6-litre motor will replace the current 2.0-litre unit.

    Good to see the C4 hasn't been forgotten about - and the new engines mean it's once again one of the greenest hatchbacks around, and wow - Citroen have managed to make it green without all the usual 'aerodynamic tweaking & taller gearing' rubbish which Volkswagen reckon they can get away with. I think the looks are improved slightly, even if they're not that noticeable, but I think 2010's all-new C4 should be one of the most distinctive around.
