I just don't understand - your verdict reads like a solid 4, and yet you only give this car 2 stars?!

Pretty sure this was a 4 when it was first put up. 

This is an outrage - I too remember seeing this review, with a higher rating, in the old format - they seemed to have put all the reviews into a tab style now - has the rating got mixed up in this re-formatting process.

Also - I am getting confused, but werent they running a competition to win one of these not long ago, and giving it rave reviews???

 All seems pretty strange to me - The Bravo isnt quite Focus standards, but for the price is an incredible car, with a cutting edge engine.  Surely more than 2 measly starts...

I give up with magazines like this and their crazy attitude towards Fiat/Alfa, I bet once the mito has been out a while it will get a slating despite receiving high praise at the moment.  Anyone I know that has a bravo is dead chuffed with the purchase. 

too right...read the original autocar road test and the handling and ride(in fact the whole car) comes out in very good light...no focus but respectable and yet they later just jump on the anti fiat bandwagon with no justification at all...its not as tho they have tested it again and have any grounds to change their opinions. i havent actually read a bad review of the bravo at all and i read just about every uk mag weekly and monthly...i suppose its easy for a junior writer to take cheap shots at what they assume to be an easy target than actually drive a car and get their facts right...
