Went last year.....Fan - Bloody - Tastic!!!!  Will go again this year...if you haven't been then you have to experience this Race...

Went last year. Very, *** shrivellingly cold, slightly tedious at points and sad with the memorial of my mate colin.

Still, In all it was awsome. If you haven't been, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! take the kids, probably not the wife, unless she's into that sort of stuff.......

Yup it was bloody freezing, so this year take some Artic Weather Proof gear as you are sitting for at least 4-5 hours. Also advised to take a flask or 2 of hot drinks and gloves....worth it though and oh yeah don't take the wife!
