If the Focus ST170 had 170bhp, and the Mondeo ST220 220bhp, why does the Fiesta ST500 not have 500bhp?

I was hoping to read that Ford had, in a moment of madness, built a mid-engined V8 Fiesta, but instead it's a cheesy 'special edition'. Rubbish!

Agree, can't believe it - milking mug punters for £15,000- Especially as a new model is coming out.

Can Ford ever get anything right? That car has been out over 4years, and now they're only doing something to it.

Why not, BMW have been doing it for years. At least this car has some modicum of spec.

Forget about all the pish about 15 grand, no one pays full price for a Fiesta ST. Try closer to 12k

mine is being delivered next week and the boy in the showroom knows of 2 that have been written off already so thats a max of 498 on the road. it was up for £15k i got it down to £11995 and then played my trump card, the ford family discount so it actually only cost me £10,200. although i was going to buy a new fiesta i could not get anywhere near that spec for the money and as by the time my options is up i estimate only 300 to be in circulation i will get a decent price for it when its sold. although its the old shape i actually prefer it to the new shape and as Ive said for a shade over £10k it aint too bad
