    What is it?


    The DB9 has been called in a mid-life set of revisions, the headlines being a reworked interior, slightly more power and revised suspension settings. You’ll have to squint to spot one, though – apart from a new 5-bar radiator grille (in place of the current 7-bar look) the design is unchanged.

    i think i get the picture. The porsche and and ferrari are proper supercars, whereas the DB9 is a GT with hadling and driver involvement.

    So what about fitness for purpose? Is that at a corresponding level to that in the porsche or ferrari?

    Oh yes. They're all equally capable of being used as cars. Perfectly fit for purpose.

    My question is - where will Aston go next styling-wise? The DB7, Vanquish, DB9, V8 Vantage, DBS and Rapide are all to some extent variations on a theme. A very pleasant theme, but surely they'll have to move on at some point...
