  • Cadillac’s ‘backseat boardroom'

    Cadillac is hoping to boost UK office productivity by offering businesses the use of chauffeured SRX cars as mobile ‘think spaces’.
    The snappily titled Backseat Boardroom initiative will run over the next couple of weeks; it aims to relieve office employees of the unnecessary distractions which, Cadillac insists, ruin an average working day. It suggests that the vehicles could be used as meeting rooms or even “quiet contemplation spaces”.

    Well, I suppose if I'm going to barf in the back of something while trying to read on the move, I would be happy enough for it to be a Cadillac

    Who the hell thought that was a good idea? As if london needs a fleet of mobile offices on the crowded roads! I take it the customer will have to pay the congestion charge?

    Has the most boring car ever created, but I'm enjoying bangernomics in a Toyota Corolla 1.6 GS in green!

    Marketing dept. come up with really silly idea.

    Gets reported in Autocar et al, publicity for Cadillac

    Job done.

    I bet they're laughing all the way to the bank having come up with that one in the pub.

    well i suppose they have to work out some way of earning their salaries...
