John (McIlroy), I know you've done your best to make the rear look abysmally cramped, in bestest, notoriousest Autocar stylee, but do you really think people will fall (again) for the front seat pushed way back, steering wheel telescoped all the way out, 'look at me in the cramped rear' schtick that A/car pulled off with the Audi A8 road test report?
your driving positon from the photo of you sat in the front shows you sat too far back: your arms would have to be almost straight out to reach the top of the steering wheel - at full extended position - and to reach the gear selector. if you admit that this is how it worked, re. the photos of you in the front and rear seats, I promise I won't bring up the matter of who ate all the pies? deal?
reference the implied chronic lack of rear seat space suggested by your photo, this from a rival publication:
'Inside, designers have created a spacious and luxurious four-seat cabin. The real revelation though is space in the rear, we sat next to another journalist who was six foot two inches tall and he still had several inches of head room to spare - quite an achievement when you consider the plunging roofline.' - doesn't chime in with your photo, John.
