Peugeot will show the new hottest option within its 308 hatchback range at next month’s Geneva show – the 308 GT THP 175 – but it’s cautious about calling it a hot hatch.

I already know it: Another cowardly half-hearted effort by Peugeot. Surely someone at Peugeot has enough nostalgic pride to resurrect some old fashioned joy back into the range. Why let Renault et al continue to reign the hot-hatch realm that Peugeot once convincingly owned?

When will they finally give us a true GTI again?! My 205 seeks its successor...
