This is the all-new Accord. It may not look very different, but according to Honda this will be the car to catapult the Japanese brand into contention with established premium marques.
A ground-up re-design, the Accord will again be sold in saloon and Tourer forms, which are both expected to arrive in the showrooms this July.

Having had an 06 version of the current diesel Accord, which was an excellent car all round, this one must be amazing. From the pictures, it does disappoint a little, but the interior looks far better designed and finished.

I would certainly be interested in the estate when it is launched. Give it 6 to 12 months to iron out any glitches there maybe, and it should prove a winning car.

Sadly, I don't think it would cope terribly well with the various boggy fields, steep-ish hills and sundry other untarmacced places I take my dogs.

 Which'll be why I've got a CR-V then!

Though it has styling cues from the current generation of Hondas, started off by the Civic, it's a shame it doesn't look as bold as its sibling. But then i don't think a radical design would have worked if the premium marques are its target. Still, the new Accord looks nice and looks a lot better than its recently launched North American cousin.

Another case of trying to be too big for your boots, when wil Honda serve it's customers needs and not it's own aspirations. Their's too much competition up there and it  competes with the Passat not the Audi or Beamer!
