The Nissan Murano will be available with a diesel engine option from September.

It is an enhanced version of the 2.5dCi four cylinder engine, giving the Murano 187bhp and 332lb ft of torque. It links to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Prices are yet to be revealed, but deliveries are expected to begin in September.

Have they really only just got round to giving it a  diesel engine?? Thats madness if true, no wonder it sold so poorly over here

Loved the styling of the Murano when it came out, really bold and different to the established large 4x4s, however age has not served this car well and the diesel alas is too little too late.

I thought the Murano was a great looking car its' about time they fitted a diesel to it, long overdue.

It's got the tweaked 2.5 four-cylinder diesel out of the Navara, though, instead of the new Renault/Nissan Alliance 3.0D V6. Seems odd to me, especially when they put the new V6 diesel in the Pathfinder!

I would have thought it should have been the other way around...?

age???? the current car only come out about 18 months ago??
