Ummm?

Roof down looks great!  Roof up looks horrible.  Think overall the 1-series convertible edges it in the looks stakes.  Will the Merc CLC come as a convertible?  Or with the new fugly face they seem to be deploying should it be shot in the paddock before it sees the light of day?

In white the A3 looks great.  In that blue?  What is it with Germans and colours?  That SL in red the other day...cream coloured cars all over the place in the actual country.  Weird.

 

 

Think the performance stats might be wrong, unless they are for a 138bhp diesel? Looks great from some angles, but from the rear it reminds me of the old Punto cabriolet. Would take the 1 Series any day.

I know Audi are trying to distance this car from the VW Eos, but surely the Eos with it's solid roof is a better all year round bet than the Audi. Visibility will be better roof up in the VW, and given the weather in this country that will be most of the time, and knowing Audi's pricing, model for model the A3 will be more expensive. Given that these two cars share the same base and engines i know which i'd choose.

Very ugly car... really does look like the old punto cabriolet from the back. Buy a used A4 Cabriolet.

I love the look of this in blue. I would definitely buy this over the BMW any day.
