Not true at all.............there was reportedly an extremely "exciting" punch up between two rat-arsed spectators.

I don't agree - it's just getting interesting now that drivers can be penalised at random for doing nothing whatsoever wrong (like Heidfeld had to do a 10 second stop-go penalty for having the audacity to be low on fuel when someone crashed on the other side of the circuit).

Maybe Heidfeld should have been moved back 5 places for daring to overtake?

Or how about moving Raikkonen to the back of the field for doing the fastest lap?

Or Hamilton for gaining a place at the start of the race?

The sky's the limit now and it could be opened up so that even Super Aguri could have the chance of winning jsut be keeping their heads down!

Shame that paranoid team managers cant/wont give details of planned pits stops to officials at start of race so that in event of a safety car period closing pits if a PLANNED fuel stop is due during this time they can refuel but no one would be allowed an unplanned fuel stop when pits are closed

But that would be too sensible for F1 as they trust no one

I completely agree with you on this one. I mean, was he meant to stay out on the track and run out of fuel so we have another safety car out while they recover the empty vehicle? This is a sport that is supposed to be run by best brains in the business but some of their ideas, rules and regulations beggars belief. Safety car is out on track so you can't pit, even if you're running out of fuel. i mean how can you explain that to anyone to make sense? Heidefeld's race was completely ruined because some group of people refused to use their brain. How abt they specify a pit window for everyone to pit then? I used to love F1 and still do but its getting more and more difficult to watch it now. Apart from the start of the race or when a clearly faster car eg ferrari comes up behind a slower car like that dog that is the Honda to overtake, absolutely nothing happens. what do they do with all the technology? write stupid rules?

Spain isn't the best track in the world it has to be said. However this was quite exciting with all sorts of crashing and engine failures not to mention Buttons awesome drive to 6th.

I have one comment about the current rules in F1. They are a load of bad mistakes and can kiss my.

    And that's that!
