Well I say new it's actually 2 months old and I don't technically get it until next Wednesday.

I went for a BMW Z4 its the 35i model with the M bits in red. Won't pull the trailer but the microlights in bits in my mothers garage anyway so won't be needing it for a while.

Went for a test drive in it today (originally went to look at a 3 Series convertible) felt pretty good to me (I know it's probably not good by other standards but next to the Land Rover defender that I rescued of a MOD scrap heap it's good).

Ill keep you posted with how it goes.

One of the best looking cars on the road at the moment. Lovely balance in its proportions.

You know, I do believe that is a 'pec'...

Great car. Enjoy it! Would you mind coming back to the forum after a few months to tell us how you are getting on with it?

I will try to remember to come back and tell you what it's like, got to try and find a job now but can not do that until I've spent a considerable amount on a Private Pilots Licence.

OMG it's going to be the longest week of your life...

The Z4 is a great choice, especially with that engine, I think you'll have a whale of a time.  Enjoy the flying, too, hope the British weather lets you get some decent hours in.  From what I hear it's IFR every day at the minute.

Weather is miserable but doesn't affect me too much as I'm licenced to fly in all conditions day or night I just have to get a different type of licence to carry paying passengers.

A bit underrated, the new Z4. It looks really good inside and out. Hope you'll enjoy driving AND owning it.
