Autotrader browse this morning turned up this gem.....

http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201150435306793/sort/locasc/usedcars/transmission/manual/body-type/hatchback/price-from/4000/fuel-type/petrol/quantity-of-doors/5/price-to/8000/maximum-mileage/up_to_80000_miles/radius/1500/postcode/rm176qj/page/40?logcode=p

Price seems a little stiff even if there aren't that many of them around any more. It would appear the guy chopped it for a Hyundai - not sure if that is a good thing or not in this case.

Have anyone else come across anything like this recently?

Cool!

Just got back from the beach, saw an immaculate 928 GT in deep blue on the way down, I think they have aged well.

You either accept a Morgan as you accept the Himalayas or you go on to more splendid things, say, butterfly collecting.  A Morgan merely is and that should be enough.

The ultimate time warp car, perhaps?

The Monza GSE did have a tastefully checked velour seat, but I wonder if you are thinking of the Manta GT/E with the more ostentatious cloth check?

Where's my signature gone?

If it is rust free, it's a steal.

A friend's dad owns a Cappucino exactly like that, an L-reg also in red with even less miles (about 25k I think). No rust. I've got first refusal!

Oh my... I want it. This thread is right up my street. The GTI a few posts up is also beautiful.
