Yes he does, and hes no MG lover either, hes a rather neutral and unbiased journalist I have always found, if he finds a fault then he will say what it is.

Well I guess this neutral and unbiased chap must have a Jekyll and Hyde character because in this 'review' he states:
"very little lateral movement on the switches, someone's worked very hard on the cabin quality."
However that's not my favourite quote, that has to be 50 secs in to the video:
"Now this isn't just a proper MG..."
Wilson carries as much credibility as a Lib Dem candidate making a pledge.
Well, it looks better in black than it does in the terrible press car orange (?) I keep seeing! Give it a diesel engine with at least 140bhp and bump the petrol up by 50bhp and it might, just might stand a chance of selling.
Never trust anyone that drives whilst wearing a hat!
Like most Chinese things a rip off of somebody else's idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjYkYQDweVg only this is far better, also why is every other vehicle in the MG advert a 2 door sports car, apart from the MG6, are they embarrassed about the other faux MG's such as the Maestro,Montego, Metro and the ZS/R/T
Don't talk rubbish, that isn't copying Honda at all. The Z cars and M cars were not all new, the MG6 is, plus they don't want to be linked with BL/Austin and P4/Rover which is wise. MG Rover and Rover cars done these 'brand videos' years ago anyway.

Thats an interesting review from Quentin Wilson - he certainly seems to like it.

The text below the video on YouTube describes it as a 'New MG Motor Brand Video'. Sadly, it's just a piece of marketing, with QW paid to be positive about the car.
I'm not being negative here, by the way. I really rather like the MG6 - and find its styling in particular a breath of fresh air against some of the over-styled opposition.
The brand video is on their website, it is just a small review not a brand video, plus its not on MG's YouTube page either.

Neutral and unbiased!!! OMG
That ain't no review, it's an advert. Not one single criticism on this car - everything is brilliant - the only negative comment was about the opposition? British designed and built (which is wrong). Not a single mention about being built in China and assembled in the UK.
I'd like the car too if MG were paying my wages. Watching this reminded me of Telly Savallas's Birmingham being 'my kinda town'. Some people will say anything for a big fat cheque.
