I know i'm on to a loser here but surely, if a car is sporty, you know it is sporty without having to see the word 'sport' in the model designation. How many Ferrari's or Lambo's have been called 'sport'?

Not my specialist subject, but just a point to note. Ferrari name their cars in an equally stupid way, just look at their latest creation the 599HGTE (Handling Grand Tourismo Evoluziones).

Apparently it does handle though.

Cycling to work this morning i sat behind a Renault Trafic Sport at some traffic lights.....it looked like a Renault UK official product.

What the hell is that about?

It is an official product, but it refers to trim level, not handling or performance. This is a prime example of using the "sport" monica in the wrong situation.

Does it ever actually refer to handling or performance Teg?

It's moniker btw. Moniker!

Reference your comment regarding the cabin design being dated!!!

Did you not notice that the interior is now taken from the convertible and far better than the old A4 ?

Well it's not really. Familiar, yes but I can't see why it would be called dated.

Overall, it's a clear simple design that is well built, has good ergonomics, and in my opinion is streets ahead of a lot of the opposition. What's dated about that, I'll never know?

The rest of the package looks very persuading too. Think this is going to be one for the savvy buyer.

The Cabin in EXEO is far superior to the Old A4, as it is taken from the Audi Convertible, looks very up to the minute, yet oozes CLASS.

Did you see those ghastly "Handling GTE" logos on the seats? I know a lot of Ferrari buyers are slightly deficient in the taste department, but really ...

I like this car its a bit cheeky and shows SEAT have some new found confidence.

The only problem I have is that if i wanted one i would have to travel a good few miles as our SEAT dealer has closed his doors for good along with

Really like this Seat.

I'd heard that Audi had been cutting corners with the new A4 using cheaper boot hinges etcetera, also I prefer the simpler interior of the old model, to the over styled new one which I think looks old fashioned.

What's it like?

Audi’s reputation for interior quality remains supreme with the A4 – this cars fit and finish felt bombproof – but the new car’s dashboard design is too conservative and is short on flair to the point of looking old-fashioned.

And while the lack of a third pedal negates some of our concerns about the transmission tunnel intruding in the driver’s footwell, you do still end up sitting at an odd angle.

So according to Autocar the new A4 is no great shakes either.

Actually the new A4 is wonderfull - its got LED running lights , and its almost as big as an A6 , and it looks almost as nice as an old A4 , and the fuel economy is almost as good as the old A4.... Isn't progress great !
