The Station Wagon is an all-purpose vehicle based on the well-known Land Rover, but in place of the usual canvas top there is a metal body with four tip-up seats in the rear compartment.

I love these old reviews! I like to compare these tests with the ones today and see how motoring has moved on in the last 50 years. 52 horsepower... top speed of 59mph and "only" £935! Nowadays, most 4x4s are terrible offroad and people only buy them for the school run. I guess one of the best around has to still be the Defender though.
