Enter the Z8 via the offside expecting to drive, and you’ll be disappointed. Right-hand-drive demand isn’t so strong so all cars will be left-hookers.

The basic driving position is good with plenty of electrical seat adjustment, but only reach adjustment for the steering wheel. You can’t fault the Z8 for pure effect inside though. I am confused, I always thought these were only available in LHD, but the interior shot of this is a RHD one.


That aside, despite all the criticsm aimed at the Z8, surely this is one of the most residual free cars ever made, I have only ever seen one or two below list price.


Also, this is surely one of the first and most succesful of the modern trend for retro design cars going.

I think the clue is to look closely at the gauges - at rest the speedo is off the clock and the rev counter is red-lining...
