Yep me too, why cant we have that stunning Austrian track back

Yes there was usually some good racing at the A1 Ring.

There was some talk a while back about a return there but I guess there wasn't enough money in it for Bernie.

Definately cancel Valencia, it's so boring. I think they hoped it would be like another Monaco but lets face it, Monaco is about the location and atmosphere, not the racing.

Valencia has neither.

1 Probably my favourite

Yep me too, why cant we have that stunning Austrian track back instead of the stupid French GP and drop one Spanish one whilst they are at it - probably will anyway to get the yanks in. But Spa and the old Austrian track (plus Goodwood in the time of Moss/Hawthorn) were always my favourites and over the years have managed them - when racing was for real, and men wore a bow tie under an overall!!!

The Americans are getting 2 GP at the moment.

The real news is that we will only be getting the Belgian GP for fabulous Spa, once every 2 years. Tragic.

+1 Probably my favourite race all year.

It's a better race to be at than watch on TV. From a number of stands you can see a lot of the circuit, and you get some cracking racing through turns 14, 15 and 16, even pre DRS.

Agreed. Mixed with a visit to Barcelona it is the ideal one for Brits who have not done an overseas GP. The elevation change is not really apparant unless you go there, but that can probably be said for quite a few places and was certainly true of Imola. Tosa was a real surprise.

From what I have seen of Ricard it looks like a practice ground for novice white line painters, and I can't remember anything good having been said by drivers who have tested there in recent years.

I suppose it is close to home for most Monaco based drivers but None of them seem to have spoken in its favour.

If I knew what I was getting into, I wouldn't have done it...and I would have been wrong.

China has always been a dull race but managed to be entertaining this year, hopefully tyres and DRS will combine to give us a show at Montmelo.

Likely to be alternating with Spa, as will Catalunya and Valencia for the Spanish GP.

One of the worst tracks - and I wish it wasnt on the menu. Very little overtaking opportunities. However, I think Pirelli have been called to the rescue on this by offering two very different sets of Rubber, and heaven knows who it might favour. I think I will go for Lotus and hopefully Kimi, but if the Frenchman can keep it on the island he aint no slouch. McLaren are getting a new nose job. It is higher than the existing but not a Step shonk. Seems they are pleased with the initial results of testing with it, but they will decide on the day - maybe the drivers might have a say in it as well. I expect the usual culprits - Vettle, LH and JB to be fighting it out with both Lotus for the front row.

Yep, i reckon you covered all the bases there, what about the news that the French GP is back next year at Paul Ricard?.....your views?
