All about strategy - everyone fighting even Massa!. Screwup in the garage robbed MS of a podium me thinks. Butters and LH fought the good fight. Well done Rossberg but I fear some are going to be asking about your hole!!(Drunk... lets see. The tyre degridation they reckoned would blight them (Merc) never happened Loved watching Webber give SV a run for his place in the last 2 laps. Grosjean despite some abberitions  did well. Kimi must be pi55ed after such a great drive.... next week  - well it would be nice if everything was poltically quiet and another fight. F1 just got interesting

Not sure I'd say it was the best for years (although I suppose it depends how you define "years" really) - up to the last 10-15 laps, I felt it was quite a dull race. There was very little in the way of actual meaningful battles or changes of position, and a lot of the passes (both inside and outside the DRS zone) were faster cars out of position muscling their way past midfielders and backmarkers. It definitely picked up towards the end though, and it was a close field compared with some races. Maybe my view is a bit coloured by the fact the winner was pretty much a done deal by lap 14, but I wouldn't say it was a classic.

Yes a lot of passing, but very little pure racing. Just a competition to see who can avoid shagging their tyres, and a DRS fest at the end of a straight. Completely fake. Might as well watch Indycar.

There was LOADS of overtaking out of the DRS zones.

Oh please - not even in the same breath !!! - going round in small circles with 10-12 safety car breaks - purely daft!

I agree they have too many breaks in the race, but I'm pretty sure that ovals are now in the minority, with only about a quarter of the races being run on one.

Great race, some fantastic action on track. And well done to the BBC team, who have pulled it together for the first live race. Who needs Sky...

As has been pointed out though, a lot of empty seats by the look of it.

Did anyone notice, but apart from the pit straight grandstand, most of the others were empty or nearly empty.

Could not agree more. Huge Jenson fan and would of loved to see him on top but well done Mercedes.

The battles and Webber almost getting airborne, plus sticking it to Vettel where all highlights.
