Travelling back up the M1 from the CV show at the NEC today I saw my first Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead. It was hideous. It was hideous because it was bright yellow!!

I also saw my first Lamborghini Murcielago SV this morning burbling through our little W Yorks village. The bright orange colour suited that much better.

Any other forum firsts spotted recently?

I saw one the other day, and I was disappointed. It's got so much press recently when mechanically, it's nothing special. I wasn't expecting the thing to be so dreary. The back looks a bit odd, and the front is too 'grinny' - the badge is too big and it just doesn't look right. It looks weird to me, but in a dull way.

+1 I would rather have a aygo or an i10

new shape BMW 3-series.... a rare car in that it actually looks better in photos than in the metal.. hideous front end, like an elephant has sat on the nose area and very fussy rear styling. 100% dont like, and makes my 2004 E46 Msport look more elegant by the day

When you said "On one side..." I thought it was going to be, err... on one side. Smile

Saw a KIA Optima today which looked good and is far better than the budget offerings KIA used to put out. Also saw an F10 M5 today. Not a fan of the F10 but as an M5 it looked great.

I saw my first Lancia Chrysler Ypsilon today. It would have looked quite nice, but a nondescript grey did it no favours. Why on earth does anyone specify grey, even Audis look dull in it?

New B-Class this morning, it looked like it was optioned up the kazoo! Didn't look too bad with the big wheels, glass roof etc. but I reckon the base models will look pretty pitiful..
