One of the old-school M Power cars - no fancy DCT, no M-button, manual gearbox, S54-engined 8000 rpm 338BHP in-line six and DSC that can be turned completely off!
There's not many hardcore cars like that about, so I'm glad that you enjoy driving it, and I hope that 8,000rpm redline is abused regularly - that's what it's there for!

It's a Midnight Blue example, with Champagne leather interior. Only got 30k on the clock and is just a weekend toy really. I do about 40-50 miles a week. Only 17 in this colour in the UK.
It's not a car for the faint hearted. You have to grab it by the scruff of the neck and it responds accordingly. I just adore it. One of the old-school M Power cars - no fancy DCT, no M-button, manual gearbox, S54-engined 8000 rpm 338BHP in-line six and DSC that can be turned completely off!
Did want an RS, but had my sensible hat on with budget
The difference in performance isn't huge, unlike the price gap! Also, the TTS has much lower running costs than the TTRS. The only thing you're really missing out on is the sound of a five cylinder engine. So overall, you probably made the best choice!
Nice TTS. I think I prefer those to the TTRS, in the same way that I prefer the S3 to the RS3. I think I'd prefer the sound of the RS versions of them though!

Thanks
Did want an RS, but had my sensible hat on with budget. Did quite well with it, good price and only 13k miles (under average for its age)
Pleased with it so far.
Lots of nice cars on here!
