They were in my local multi brand dealers, and i have to say, hand on heart, with the ball and chain present, two polis, and the sales person, that i near dropped my coffee cup, the Magnette looked not bad, it was in Black too, reminded of a Mecedes E-class, then i stuck my head in the window it was open, talk about 1990's!,still it made the MG6 look....well third World.sorry Prodigy, it's STILL a mus try harder...a real 6/10.
I don't think anybody is in any doubt that you don't like the MG6, Peter.
I've seen quite a few now and they have grown on me to the point that I think they look quite good. The only problem for MG is that I have not yet seen one without the website address on the back bumper which I think means it's a hire car.
Guy in the dealers told me he's sold thirty!, i told him i haven't seen one, not even a demo on the road, the problem i think apart from the engines or lack of is,on the outside it's not to bad, the Mgnette i saw was in Ministerial Black, and it reminded me of the E-class Merc, but, open the door and it was like stepping back into the 90's, i like the shape, but the rest is lagging behind, yes, and i'm sure Prodigy will cough in his tea, i'm likeing the Magnette, but it's a few years away yet from being good, hears hoping, Prod....you can get up now!
