Did anyone get to the Wilton Supercars event today? I did and it was fantastic.

8 McLaren MP412Cs arrived at once! Quite incredible event.

I stumbled upon a group of Alfa Enthusiasts in Morrisons carpark in canterbury today.  The various V6's sounded great as they all drove off in convoy.  What made my day was the obligatory push start one of them needed.

I stumbled upon a delicious 'where are they now' thread on another car forum, what an eye opener!

Congratulations on being a Tonbridge bus driver.

I live in Tonbridge, and very pleasant it is, too.

I live only a few miles away and I bought my car from there! I also follow Tonbridge Angels.

Well fidji7 we won 2-1 against Charlton, not a bad match. Were you there, would we have met in the executive lounge ( i was just a guest).

That must have been a friendly - I tend not to watch them. Didn't we play Arsenal last season in a friendly? I think they sent their second reserve team!

I don't go in the executive lounge. At home games, I stand near the burger van further from the entrance - you get more space over there and that burger van is nowhere near as busy! I always go there at the start of the game but the first half always kicks off with us shooting at the other side!

At away games, I tend to join the Barmy Army to avoid feeling outnumbered! I think we take Longmead for granted compared to other teams' grounds. There's loads of parking and you can walk the whole way round the pitch with lots of space. When I went up to Hastingsa couple of seasons ago (we won 5-1), I had to park in some residential area about half a mile away and I couldn't find the car when I left! The ground is pretty bad as well. And at Welling, I had to park a long way from it too, and whenever a bus drove past, they could see right onto the pitch. Also, there's a FIAT dealership just behind and some Panda's alarm wouldn't stop going off in the first half!

I've been following the Angels since I was a lad, but the best moment for me was when we got promoted two seasons ago after winning 4-3 in the playoff final! There was a pitch invasion afterwards, and all the stewards who originally tried to stop everyone from going on the pitch from the stands then gave up and opened all the gates to let everyone through!

Hi ChrisH

Your meant  to keep quiet about it being the 2nd reserve team, maybe they should have sent the first ! Nice to see our lot get of their arses and go after the ball for once. I dont go every week, i go with me mate who attends all matches home and away. Even went to bedlington & Blye up north.

Your right we take the parking for granted. and the burger vans are the best of any ground.

I usually go with my dad, my father-in-law and my eldest son (17), although he's usually up to something else on the weekends now! I don't bring the youngest along - he's nearly seven and I'm not sure the banter would be appropriate, even if it is quite funny! My 13-year-old son sometimes comes as well, but he doesn't really show much interest!

Haven't been up north for any games yet! I know we played some friendlies against some teams up there!

Are you going up to Truro this season? I think I might but I'll probably have to book a hotel! I don't fancy going there and back in one day!

The burger vans are great, although they stopped selling bovril towards the end of the season for some reason. The burgers are still lovely though, and it's the only ground where they give you a proper portion of chips!

That's strange Fidji because your 13yr old son used to be a daughter.
