The Polo GTi has been much like the Golf GTi – sometimes brilliant, sometimes mediocre... except without the brilliant bit. Matt Prior finds out whether the latest incarnation can throw off the shackles of its previous disappointments. Priced at £18,000 we certainly hope so.
