The 2016 Geneva motor show has brought us everything from hypercars with four-figure power outputs to an MPV that thinks it's a crossover.

Below, Autocar’s head of video Matt Prior has whittled down the selection to look over four of the show’s hottest new arrivals.

Video analysis of the Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti’s Veyron replacement makes use of a reworked quad-turbocharged W16 engine that produces 1479bhp. It can accelerate to 62mph in a neck-snapping 2.5sec, and onto a top speed of 261mph. If big numbers are your thing, the Bugatti Chiron can be yours for, gulp, £1.64 million. Read more about the Chiron here.

Video analysis of the Lamborghini Centenario

Nothing can make an Aventador SV look tame, nothing apart from the new Lamborghini Centenario. The V12 supercar is based on the Lamborghini Aventador, but it produces 19bhp more than the SV and its exterior takes aggressive design to a whole new level. Just 40 will be produced, and they’ve all been sold. Read more about the Centenario here.

Video analysis of the Porsche 911 R

Thank Porsche for building the 911 R. It’s proof the car maker hasn’t forgotten about the enthusiast driver, who seeks engagement and rawness over practicality and ease of use. The car uses the flat-six engine of the GT3 RS and mates it to a proper manual gearbox. For many, this will be the car of Geneva. Read more about the 911 R here.

Video analysis of the Aston Martin DB11

The DB9 bows out of production with the arrival of the DB11. With a new twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12, it produces 600bhp and 516lb ft of torque, making it the most potent Aston Martin DB model ever produced.
