News 25 July 2012

Sticky Flaps

47 weeks 17 hours ago

Proof, if ever it were needed, that CCTV is next to useless, other than being able to relive the heartache of watching your pride and joy being pushed away, over and over again.

For those with the OBD flap in "that" location,  get a length of duct tape, black is best, open the door wide, making sure the apperture is clean, stick it on, then wrap it round so that the other end goes deep into the foot well, covering the OBD flap, though don't pull it so tight that the door seal deforms.  You can apply a piece in the other direction too.

It makes getting at the OBD flap that much more difficult, risking setting off the alarm in an attempt to clear it.  Doesn't stop the fùckers smashing your window though.

Well, what's nxt?

Can't the OBD be sited on the transmission tunnel down by the seat rail?,no?.. then lets adopt the South African anti car theft devices,a half bottle of Vodka laced with a tast acting poison,or, and this really burns....flame throwers under the doors!

Ever heard of a garage!

Seriously, why does no one use them these days on houses that have them apart from OAP's putting their 20 year old Rovers every night.  Great benefits in the winter too.

Strange

Why go the BMW not the Passat? Surely that has a lovely creamy diesel under the bonnet?
