Aston Martin's V12 Vanquish Volante will be shown at US auto show

Aston Martin's new Vanquish Volante will have its global debut at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week next month in California.

The £200,000 car, which was recently spotted testing at the Nürburgring, will have its debut alongside the 2015 V12 Vantage S and Aston's CC100 Speedster concept.

Power for the Vanquish Volante comes from the same 6.0-litre V12 as the coupé, with a reported 0-62mph time of 4.5sec and a top speed of 180mph. The Vanquish Volante uses Aston Martin's fourth-generation VH platform.

Meanwhile, the 2015 V12 Vantage S makes its first appearance in the US. The 205mph car is powered by a 565bhp 6.0-litre V12 and can reach 0-60mph in 3.7sec. The car is rear-wheel drive, with the engine's 457 lb ft of torque being managed through Aston Martin's Sportshift III automatic gearbox.

Pebble Beach Automotive week takes place between 14-18 August. For all the latest news from the event, stay tuned to Autocar.co.uk.
