The new Honda CR-V, will be priced from £21,395 in entry-level front-wheel drive guise, when it launches in October.

It comes equipped with Honda's 2.0-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. Topping the range will be the diesel 2.2 i-DTEC EX Automatic, costing £32,650.

The base 'S' model comes in two and four-wheel drive configurations with a manual gearbox. An automatic gearbox is available as an option only on models with four-wheel drive.

Standard equipment on all CR-Vs includes an i-MID multimedia system, air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, hill start assist, idle stop, USB/auxiliary input, fabric upholstery, one-touch folding rear seats and cruise control.

The SE trim level is further equipped with a leather steering wheel and gearstick, rain-sensitive wipers, automatic headlights, parking sensors, rear parking camera, six-speaker stereo, Bluetooth connectivity, front fog lights and a Category 1 alarm.

SR spec adds a leather and Alcantara interior, DAB Radio, heated front seats, darkened privacy glass, dynamic cornering lights, headlight washers, 18-inch alloy wheels and manual height adjustment for the passenger seat.

The range-topping EX trim level boasts smart entry, a full leather interior, an electric driver’s seat position memory, panoramic glass roof and integrated satellite navigation.
