The Toyota GT86 gets another special edition to sit at the top of its range

The Toyota GT86 Blanco is the new range-topping version of the rear-wheel-drive sports car.

The special edition version of the GT86 comes with a selection of visual upgrades including a large red and grey stripe on the bonnet. It is finished in GT White Pearl paint, with a further twin stripe along the sills. The front lip and rear diffuser are also edged in red, while the door mirrors get red and grey flashes.

It comes with bespoke 10-spoke 18in alloy wheels, while the interior features heated leather sports seats. Every GT86 Blanco is numbered to denote where it sits in the production run.

Mechanically it is identical to the rest of the GT86 range, so it gets the same 197bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer petrol engine and reaches 62mph from rest in 7.6sec.

Buyers can also add touchscreen satellite navigation and a higher-specification JBL speaker system. The Blanco is set to cost from £28,500 and will be delivered to the first customers from 1 August.
