Special edition features a leather interior and light green metallic paint

Kia has revealed this special edition of its Soul crossover.

Dubbed the Soul Searcher, it is the company’s latest addition to the Soul ‘Originals’ line-up and is powered by the company’s 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine, available as a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

Small diesels arent known for their wide rev bands. So sticking a 4 speed auto on it doesnt sound at all promising. And then charging 18k for it sugests the Koreans are getting a bit too confident already.

Appears to have been an unannounced change of policy at Hyundai/Kia - the latter's price are now dearer than the former - see also ix35 v Sportage

Does this car mean that Kia are going to give all their Soul limited editions names that suggest puns or plays on word? If this is the case how about Survivor, Brother.

At least you'd be able to find it in the car park, otherwise it'd be a Lost Soul.

The Lost Soul is the Sat. Nav. edition - the voice setting is stuck in Korean!
