The first official photos of the new Honda Jazz have been revealed ahead of a Frankfurt motor show debut.
The car, which will go on sale in Japan this September, will include a hybrid version making use of a 1.5-litre engine together with an electric motor. A seven-speed dual clutch gearbox is expected.
The new Jazz also makes use of three driving modes, selectable by the driver and labelled EV, hybrid and engine. That means the new Jazz will be able to run on electric power alone for some journeys. This set-up reportedly means the new Jazz will be capable of 102.8mpg.
Styling wise, the car appears to have taken cues from the 2012 Insight, especially around the front light cluster. Honda has yet to reveal pricing information, as well as when the car might be on sale in the UK.

Hyundai Anyone?
This is a good looking little car and one I personally think looks far better than the current model.
It does have the look of a Hyundai IX20 however but that is no bad thing.
Whilst much is being touted about the hybrid, what interest me more is the first picture (the red car) which seems to have something that resembles a Type S or related logo.
Honda UK would do well to bring this model (or something along the same lines) to the UK to try and bring down the average age of the Jazz driver.
Deeply Unattractive
An ugly duck that makes the new Datsun look like a swan. Seriously. what were they thinking.
