Lewis Hamilton has designed his favourite F1 circuit. The imaginary Grand Prix track ties together 10 of the F1 world champion's favourite corners, using some of the most evocative turns in international motor racing. "I wanted to create a circuit that would be challenging, exhilarating and enjoyable," said Lewis, "but most of all somewhere you would love to have the chance to drive and provide the definitive test for any driver, in any car." The anti-clockwise layout of Lewis Hamilton's dream track includes some of the most challenging corners on the modern Grand Prix calendar. Spa's Eau Rouge is there, as is the infamously fast 130R from Suzuka, Copse from Silverstone, and Tabac from Monaco. The newest corner on the layout is Istanbul's four-apex turn 8. Lewis Hamilton has now published pictures of his designs. The image below is of the first corner after the start finish straight based on the Circuit de Catalunya.....

I'm not really bothered what he designs to be honest.
Yes, a little bit of a publicity stunt, although you never know, someone might actually build the thing in Dubai...
Be interesting to see how he does with all the rule & design changes in 2009.

Is no one from Autocar bothered about reading members' comments here or is it simply that they just don't give a monkey's what members have to say?
So, just in case the question in my last post wasn't very clear (and someone from Autocar does - at some point in the remainder of this decade - finally bother to read this thread and respond), can I respectfully ask why this thread (and indeed a couple of others) have been left as stickies for months now? I mean, there is nothing discernibly important or earth shattering about them to justify this, is there?

I think the reason is because Autocar continually feel the need to boost Hamiltons ego even further by praising every little move he ever makes. In the magazine Alan Henrys reporting of any thing Hamilton or McLaren related is completly biast. Do they not realise many readers are Formula 1 fans not McLaren fans.

Just to clarify, this thread is not a sticky.
Our forum has an automatic ranking system that boosts the threads with the most views or most replies.
The ability to change this, unfortunately, is out of our hands at the moment.

That doesn't explain the "Mazda 3 stop and start" thread. It has had neither the hits or replies that some of the other threads have had, and that's still "stuck".
I am no computer or web techie, but I would suggest there is an issue with some of the settings.
