Classic Le Mans racers, including Ford GT40s and McLaren F1s, were among the star attractions at yesterday’s inaugural Chelsea Auto Legends show.
The event took place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and featured appearances from Stirling Moss, Richard Attwood and Derek Bell.

Other cars in the show’s line up included Jaguar C- and D-types, Porsche 956s, the Le Mans-winning Jaguar XJR and Aston Martin’s current LMP1 Le Mans challenger.
There were screenings of the classic 1970 Le Mans film throughout the day and cars from that film – including Steve McQueen’s Porsche 917 – were on display, too.
The event also helped raise money for the Chelsea Pensioners who reside at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
