Jaguar ’s XJ is a thoroughly modern saloon and a real contender in the luxury segment. There's a facelifted version on the way soon, which is probably why Motorparks has the 3.0 diesel in Luxury trim going for £51,260. That’s a saving of £5000 from the list price.
The Hyundai ix35 crossover is proof positive of the Korean firm's success story in Europe. UK Car Discount is offering the 2.0 diesel in SE trim for £4,235.72 off the list price, at £19,279.28.
Best new car leasing deals
The Mercedes SLK is a roadster that has a broad ability and a great selection of engines. We found a deal for £240 per month from Yes Lease on the SLK 250 CDI model in AMG Sport specification. That’s on a 24-month contract with a deposit of £2160 and a 10,000 annual mileage limit.
The Volkswagen Golf turned 40 last week and has sold over 30 million units since its launch in 1974. National Vehicle Solutions has an offer for a 1.6-litre TDI SE for £165.61 a month for 24 months with a deposit of £1,800 and an annual mileage limit of 5000.
Deal of the week
The BMW M5 is for many the definitive sports super saloon, with 552bhp from its turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine. Broker4Cars is offering it for £63,815, a saving of £10,124 off the list price of £73,940.
