Rare, but well done XK

Chas Hallett

I ran an XKR for eighteen months and to say I loved it was an understatement. In fact I became an XKR bore telling anyone who would listen how it brilliantly bisected the 911 and Merc SL market, serving up serious sports car performance and more laid-back cruiser.

XKR-SAnd now I've finally got to drive the limited edition XKR-S which, as my colleagues have already confirmed, goes a little bit closer to a Porsche without ruining its Jaguarness if you get my drift.

And yes it's even better than the standard car. Sharper, meaner and almost indecent corning ability. In fact even in these stricken times it's almost a crime that Jag is only making 200 of them.
