On paper the Grandis has everything. And in the metal, too, its combination of striking good looks, spacious and attractively styled cabin and apparently unbeatable showroom value would seem to make it almost irresistible. Unfortunately the execution isn't as good as the idea, especially when it comes to ride quality. Nor is the Grandis what it could be when it comes to engine refinement, fuel consumption or driver appeal. Sort that lot and the Grandis will fly, but until then it remains an anom
