Forget Cadillac's previous efforts to mould a saloon with the right moves to tempt European tastes. The CTS offers a much more convincing blend of qualities, though ride and cabin finish are below par. Lacks subtlety and sophistication of a BMW 3 Series but is sporty and interesting. V-spec has real pace.
