More than ever a hatch of two halves. The dramatic, thrusting nose looks slightly at odds with the compact, understated tail. Fine engines – especially the JTD diesel – and stylish interiors. But a musical exhaust note and Latin charisma don't quite compensate for its ability, which lags behind in a fiercely competitive class.
