New Sport GT S power increased to 433bhp

Maserati has released details of a new high-performance flagship for its Quattroporte range.

The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S gets a re-mapped ECU, pushing the 4.7-litre V8’s power up 8bhp to 433bhp, a new active-valve sports exhaust and revised gearbox software.

The Sport GT S also features tweaked dampers, stiffer springs and a lower ride height.

The GT S also gets numerous visual changes over the standard S model. These include a black grille with red accents for the Trident logo, black rather than chrome finishing around the doors, as well as twin oval tailpipes and metallic-finish headlights.

The Quattroporte GT S is due to be unveiled to the public at the Detroit motor show in January.

Prices and an on-sale date for UK cars are yet to be confirmed.

Well, it not surprising you find this topic boring, what with piloting the Airwolf and firing missiles all over the place.

And btw, how is Dominic doing these days?
